Front Desk Agent

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions and all in-house groups, meetings and events as well as closed and restricted dates.
• Provides gracious and efficient and knowledgeable telephone services.
• Creates reservations and processes special requests.
• Responsible for processing guests' check in/checkout in an efficient, and courteous manner and process customer credit in accordance with hotel policy and verify the guest's method of payment following established credit-checking procedures.
• Help guests’ complete registration cards, assigns rooms, accommodating guest’s special requests, including safe deposit boxes whenever possible.
• Communicate and answer inquiries from guests regarding booking, hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Works as a team player in meeting guests' needs.
• Collaborates effectively with other service departments to effectively manage guest services.
• Listen, apologize with empathy, and direct any guest complaints to the proper supervisor when resolving guest problems.
• Have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area. (Front Desk, Lobby, Coffee Station, Meeting spaces and Rooftop)
• Communicate with Maintenance and Management when something is out of order and properly create Maintenance slip request in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
